INSCRIBED ON THE RECTO OF THE FRONTISPIECE PHOTO PLATE "With the author's kind regards/ March 19th '08". xx+135 pp. plus 32-page publisher's catalog. Illustrated with photographic plates. The author, who was the brother of Boy Scouts founder Robert Baden-Powell, relates his experiences in hot air ballooning. Sections include "How I Learnt Ballooning', "A Trip Heavenward", "In An Italian War Balloon" and "Navigation of the Balloon". A scarce title, particularly so signed.
