Born in China of missionary parents, while a student at Moody Bible Institute she met the University of Chicago scholar, Henry Buron Sharman and they married, returned to Canada where she wrote a number of works including Canadian Poets and her major work on Sun Yat-Sen. Bound in gray paper covered boards lettered and decorated in dark brown and brick depicting bamboo, spine lettering brown. A fine copy in near fine dust jacket. Seller Inventory # 016464
