Synopsis: Finally, a definitive work detailing and analyzing the centuries-old controversy over the place of ritual baptism in the impartation of the redemptive grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Within these pages the reader will see original source quotations from the Ante-Nicene, Nicene and Post-Nicene Church Fathers. Read original citations for Jerome, Aquinas, Luther, Calvin, Wesley and many other great theologians down to our present time. Dr. Hosler defends the believer's baptism view with a total absence of the usual pejorative rhetoric that has historically been employed in this debate.
