About this title

Synopsis:

Joseph Campbell provided a series of steps that each person undergoes on their own unique Hero's Journey. Although these steps are based on mythological stories from the beginning of time, they are all still highly relevant to our current world, and this book explores this idea in the lives of Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Lance Armstrong, & Rudy Giuliani. Joe Guse has studied the work of Joseph Campbell extensively, and is also working on a book about the application of the Hero's Journey in Individual Psychology.

About the Author:

Joe Guse is a psychotherapist from Chicago who has studied the work of Joseph Campbell extensively and runs workshops on the use of the Hero's Journey in Personal Development. Joe is a former comedian who has traveled extensively on his own Hero's Journey, and is the author of several additional books including Stories of Hope and Courage, The Tragic Clowns, and Forever 27. Joe resides in Chicago Illinois.
