An expanded version with a new preface of "Pour la guerre, seule hygiene du monde et seule morale educatrice" and "Responses aux Canards Turcs". This pamphlet by the founder of Italian Futurism is his account of the Battle of Tripoli as seen in his role as war correspondent. This new edition with the new preface states Marinetti's belief that the chaos of war is the opportune time for new ideas and language. This title was reportedly sold at political rallies throughout Italy, with the proceeds going to war veterans and widows. Martin, 1968. Fine, rear wrapper corner lightly bent.
