180 pages plus numerous maps and plates from photographs - some in colour and some folding - in the original publisher's black pebbled cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. The front cover has three tiny holes near the hinge - a manufacturing matter; otherwise, internally very clean and fresh and soundly bound; it appears to be unread. The light card dust jacket is very slightly dusty, rubbed chipped. The famous account of war-time production at BSA, Small Heath, Birmingham. This first edition is not commonly found and is even less common in its dust jacket. Size: 6" x 9½" (150mm x 245mm). Bookseller Inventory # 018810
