About this title

Bea finds an enchanted brooch that teaches her about the importance of imagination in this wonderful story inspired by a gift given to the author many years ago in Nepal.

About the Author:

Jennifer Guediri holds degrees in International Administration and Human Services, Social Anthropology and TESOL. A talented educator proficient in developing and implementing cross-cultural communications programs, she works in corporate, legal and non-profit sectors. Mrs. Guediri's creative pieces on the identity of women have been awarded by NAWBO and showcased at international airports and book stores. Her imaginative Reninawear© designs have been exhibited at childhood development centers, libraries and museums. Mrs. Guediri's interest in behavior and culture began as a child growing up amongst two special needs siblings, and living and traveling throughout the European Community with her family. She has lived and studied in India, Israel, North Africa, Peru and Southeast Asia, conducting research on interpersonal and learning processes. Bea and the Magic Brooch was inspired by a gift she received as a teenager in Nepal. This incident, Mrs. Guediri's family background and extensive global experience, helped form her belief that story and the arts and their development of our imaginations create positive self image and will lead us toward health and well being.
