About the Author:

Malachy Grange, a public health nurse in Portland, Oregon has written two books about his experience working with the HIV/AIDS. CONVERSATIONS AT OUR HOUSE is a record of interviews with AIDS caregivers who struggle to find meaning in the face of suffering and death. A BEAUTY BORN OF SUFFERING is based on the authhor's journal during his first year working in the community with people with AIDS. He has also written short prose and poetry. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Fenix and two children, Luke and Joe.
