In the original half vellum binding, with the marbled paper to the boards removed, with only one small patch of the marbled paper remaining to the head of the front board. Externally, sound. Vellum is lifting to the joints. Light marks to the boards. Vellum is a little discoloured, as is usual, with some marks. Chip to the rear joint. Minor bumping to the extremities. Front hinge is weak, rear hinge is strained. Paper to the rear paste down is detaching. Loss of paper to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some spots. Good Only.
