About this title

Synopsis:

The theme that created hope out of desolation in the beloved story of The Phantom of the Opera come to life in Jacobs Beyond the Masque.

Burdened from birth with a facial deformity, musical genius Erik Gautier once strives to master humanity, making his will law, but now he struggles to accept an offer of love from the woman he loves, the woman who once betrayed him. How can he bring himself to trust again? Should he? Will he knowing submit his mind and heart to quench the emotional deprivation when others have turned away?

Learn of the compelling opposite that flood Erik s life as he confronts justice and mercy when he is unable to escape his past.

About the Author:

Kae D. Jacobs currently resides with her husband in Colorado. Her four children and grandchildren live nearby and are the joys in her life, as she seems to always be changing hats.

Going back to school when her children were mostly grown, she received a degree in sign language interpreting which developed into a love of languages and the meaning evoked by words. This love of verse was instilled at a young age as well, as she composed poetry and has since imparted her appreciation of literature to her children; they are all voracious readers.

Having a penchant for the arts has brought opportunities in Community Theater since 1989 both behind and on stage.
