About the Author: Since the publication of the first edition of this guide, Jane and Buddy Kahn have served on the Chatham-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission's Bicycle-Greenway committee. Buddy has served on the Georgia Department of Transportation Bikeway Committee, and Jane has been on the Chatham Urban Transportation Study Committee. Jane has written articles for Adventure Cyclist, Savannah, and TravelHost Savannah magazines. The Kahns live in Savannah and are well-known activists in the cycling community of coastal Georgia.
