34 full page colour illustrations (with short title below) by A.E. KENNEDY (but many are signed Albert Kaye, an early pseudonym), 2 smaller b/w ills (1 signed Helen Jacobs), pictorial endpapers. Hardback: colour pictorial boards, corners slightly bumped and rubbed, cloth spine is rubbed, top of spine slightly pulled, endpapers lightly foxed, last 2 plates have a short tear on top edge - binding is a little exposed between those 2 plates, lower fold of a few pages creased, else vg. folio.
