Description:
The boards show scuffing to the mildly crushed spine head and tail, bumped corners with some fraying, and scuffing to the edges including the darkened spine. Slight staining but fairly clean. The hinges are cracked with netting showing with the front board particularly loose. The binding is still holding the text block together well. Leaves are intact and generally clean with occasional foxing or soiling. Foxing is most evident on the protective tissue sheets. One tissue sheet is missing and one is completely loose. All colour plates are present and intact. The plate facing page 49 has 3 small tears up to 1cm to the edges. Overall fair to good. Seller Inventory # 190
