About this title

...Where is Black City? Who lives there; who are these people?! Black City is located on the outskirts of reality and insanity ("as I see it") you know where tangible and intangible meet; where there's a sensitive blend of good and evil...

About the Author:

Born in the early 1960's, Rob was raised in the Mid-West (inner city Chicago). Rob began reading comic books at an early age. Influenced by such great characters as Spider Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America, The Mighty Avengers etc; Rob always wanted to be part of the world of comics. Rob was especially drawn to the super heroes that somehow seemed real to him. These were the characters that were not just plagued with the difficulties of being a super hero; they also had to face the everyday challenges of life. Rob also noticed (at an early age) that the super hero world wasn't very balanced with super heroes of color ("Minorities, if you will"). It has been his desire to create a city, a world, with a different balance, a different set of values. Rob's idea was to create a world with super heroes of color that were as iconic as characters such as Super Man, Bat Man, and the X-Men. Many years later the desire to create this alternate existence is still with Rob and through the pages of Black City Rob hopes to entertain and intrigue his readers with plots of deception, moral and social well being and the everyday challenges of life that we all face without exception to color.
