About the Author: John Thomason received his JD from the University of Tennessee where he was on the Board of Editors of the Tennessee Law Review and President of his Senior class. He served as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate V11 US Army Corps in Germany from 1953 to 1955. His experiences as an Army Lawyer are the subject of another book, "Lieutenant, Your Cap's On Backwards"; a warm story of the cold war published in 2002. In 1967 together with Fraank Crawford and Roy Hendrix he founded a law firm Thomason, Crawford & Hendrix and in 2002 after 50 years at the Bar he retired from the practice of Law. He has won numerous awards for his years of dedicated service. He and his wife Sally live in Memphis.
