The spine is chipped on the ends, with a library label in the bottom compartment. The covers are well attached, with rubbing to the corners, and a piece of leather measuring about 1/2 inch by 1 inch lacking from the back cover. Library bookplate, 2 frontpapers, Title Page, with an early owner's name and a red library stamp, "Directions to the Bookbinder" on the back of the title page, main text of pages 551 - 1,091, one page of advertising, 2 endpapers. The pages are clean, crisp, and are tightly bound, but do have some foxing, with occasional larger browned areas. Measures about 8-1/4 inches by 10-1/2 inches, and is about 1-1/2 inches thick.
