Maclaren also published books on theology under his real name, John Watson. There are a dozen fine black-and-white drawings by a very highly acclaimed artist and engraver. Brown cloth hard cover with gilt titles and decorations; top edges gilt; title page has red and black print and decorations; printed on high quality paper; tissue protects all the illustrations.
