Yellow hardcover cloth binding clean, square and tight. DJ has chips, tears, rubbing along edges and light soiling - protected from further damage in mylar jacket. Interior clean and tight with a bit of foxing and a stain inside back cover which shows through the last couple of pages but does not affect text. Back of dj has photo of author with two blonde cocker spaniels. 266 pages. When the sunny and affectionate cocker spaniel Bonny dies while Nat is in the Navy, his younger brother Davy telt he had to bring up Bonny's one living puppy to make his brother proud.
