Undated, circa 1853. A handsome volume. Full burgundy leather elaborately decorated in gilt on spine and front and rear covers. Inner gilt dentelles, All page edges gilt. Raised bands on spine. Decorated endpapers. Very Good. Modest edge-wear to leather. Binding solid. Pages 3-8 with tiny hole and/or small chip near upper corner. Some quite mild and sporadic foxing, but contents largely clean and bright. 441 pages - nearly all with illustrations.
