, pages not numbered though appears to be 200 plus, original hand drawn paintings inside both covers with a handwritten inscription at reverse reading 'the two little paintings are by Leslie R.A. when he was a little boy, mr seymour 1890', and "frontispiece painted by Leslie Junior R.A.when a boy", this probably refers to Charles Leslie (1839-1886), grandson to Edward Williams and member of the Williams family of painters , very minor light bumping to covers about corners, inscription of previous owner to inside front end paper and second end paper, plus note on artwork at reverse, internally very sound book, minor markings, light tanning commensurate with age. Very good condition. , full black morocco leather, attractive gilt design to front, gilt title and décor to spine, gilt dentelles, full gilt edges , octavo, 9 cm by 6 cm Hardback ISBN.
