Title: My Bookhouse (Six Volume Set)
Publisher: The Bookhouse For Children Publishers, Chicago
Book Condition: Very Good
Six volumes. Matching set. Volume 1 is Very Good. Volumes 2-6 are Very Good Plus. Volumes 1-4 are published 1920. Volumes 5-6 are published 1921. All boards show mild shelfwear and touching at the extremities. All spines are attractive with very little loss to the gilt. All color pastedowns are bright, save for the mild shelfwear (still remarkable). All have even mild toning to the edges of the pages. All books are square and tight. Although I have gone through each book, there may be a small stray tear or two to the pages, or occasional folds to the corners, but the overall appearance of the pages is quite good. I found no damage of consequence to any of the books, save Volume 1. As to volume 1 the front hinge is cracked but holding. The free end page has been amateurishly scotch-taped (with tape no longer present). Further the free end page and second free end page are separated from the book. Also, the free end page has 1/3 of page torn off (but still present) which was also scotch taped (the tape no longer holding). Overall a beautiful set of this Children's Classics. Extra postage may apply. Bookseller Inventory # 000972
