Hallenbeck" mounted to front board; folio; contains 40 songs, engraved sheet music, sometimes preserving the original front cover. Most of them published in New York or Philadelphia, but also including London and Baltimore. None of them dated. Composers such as Kotzwara, Upton, Hook, Phillipps, Phipps, Sanderson, Reevel, Shield, Spafforth, and others -- all arranged for the piano. Songs include: The Bewilder'd Maid; The Second Cottage Rondo; The Copenhagen Waltz, with Variations ; Paddy Carey, a Cotillion; Scots wha hae wi Wallace bled!; Jessie the Flow'r o' Dumblane, a Favorite Scottish Song; Ma Belle Coquette; and many more.
