About this title

Synopsis:

This book contends that the children of America's immigrants form a generation who adapt to two cultures. They are initially strongly influenced by the culture of their parent's homeland, while they build a bridge for that culture to the ever evolving America. Hansen discusses the American need for a constant flow of immigrants to energize, renew and stimulate the American culture and economy.

About the Author:

Pete Hansen is the son of Danish Immigrants. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a nuclear weapons officer and was a mathematics professor at California State University, Northridge. Pete Hansen is currently a consultant to the CSUN College of Extended Learning and a member of the AAIE Board of Trustees.
