Green tweed covers with white lettering on front cover and spine in a dust jacket with green background, black lettering and wrap-around illustration in green, black and white. Dust jacket is in overall good minus condition with wear, chipping and slight tearing along edges and creases. There is a 2 1/2 inch tear running diagonally from top left corner of front panel that is closeable but still discernible. The book is in good plus condition with some slight shelf wear and bumping to edges and corners. the top page edges are a bit soiled and the bottom page edges have a small stain. The contents are tight and clean with no writing or marking in the text or on the end pages. Nicely illustrated with Morgan's diagrams and black and white drawings by Walt Reed. All-in-all this is a nice copy of a hard-to-find book. This is the tenth printing of Morgan's first of four books on Radio and Electronics for boys. Renown for his work in wireless electronics, particularly with ham radios, he is also acclaimed for his books geared towards younger readers and has been credited for inspiring at least one generation of budding scientists and enthusiasts.
