The 1880 edition of this inspired Twain's satirical 'A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court,' as well as helped spur renewed interest in Arthurian legends (Wikipedia). GOOD+ condition. General fading, minor scuffing and soiling to the cloth. Some scuffing to the hinges and extremities. Several gift inscriptions on the second front endpaper. Interior solid but toned.
