Brown buckram binding, with blind-stamped borders front and back, with gilt-stamped portrait of horses to the front board, the gilt rather faded, and with fairly crisp gilt-stamped titliong to the spine. The binding is generally quite clean. Lightly bumped spine head and tail, with fairly sharp corners. The text block firmly bound in. With 276 numbered pages of text, interspersed with several archival photo-plates, a number of which are full-page. No spotting, tears, underlining or other blemished observed. Previous owner name in small neat ink hand to top of front FEP. Else the book is remarkably clean, inside and out. Gently read if read at all. A most attractive copy and rated as Very Good Plus.
