Tight, clean interior! Somewhat rare in this condition. Former owner name on front end paper, "Tipped In Frontispiece".photo. Minor edge wear on boards.1/4" tear on edge of second endpaper. Moderate creasing and chipping along edge of jacket Other edges have rubbed areas. Larger, one inch sized portion missing along bottom front edge and bottom of spine. 176 pages. Morant was the son of a English admiral, moved to Austrailia in the 1880's and became a drover and horsebreaker in the Outback. Considered a swashbuckling cavalier and a genius with horses. He also wrote many ballads under the pen name "The Breaker". Bookseller Inventory # 18649
