Hardcover in greyish-wheat cloth with gilt titles in black rectangle to spine, in orange and white uncoated card jacket with sketch of Capote to rear panel, 8vo. 6th printing (stated). Not bookclub, ex-lib or remainder. 179pp. VG/VG. Book has mild softening with light creases at extreme spine ends, pages lightly toned but clean and unmarked. Binding tight and square. Touches of light tape residue to front and rear endpapers where flaps were formally taped-down (correspoding tape remanants to flaps, not institutional related). Jacket has light toning and soil all around, with former primarily evident on white backgrounds. Moderate fading to spine with colors and titles all clear. Surface loss at spine ends with external magictape reinforecment. 1" and 3/4" tears off lower spine end and lower rear hinge internally tape repaired, with some separation at lower hinge end. 1/4" and 1/2" internally tape-repaired closed tears off mid upper rear edge and lower front edge near corner, repsectively. Several areas of light to moderately darkened bleed-through from previous internal repairs with non-archival tape along extreme edges.
