About this Item

512 pages. Softcover. New book. POETRY. Of the 35 American poets and international poets represented in this anthology, 15 come from a multi-generational American background. The majority of them are either first-generation children of immigrant parents or immigrants themselves. These poets not only maintain close ties with their homecountries but also are actively involved in exchanges with other communities and countries. Therefore, participating in such exchanges is to be involved with the global community itself. It is my sincere hope that this volume will serve as a small bridge toward the globalization of the Korean literature. (Key Words: Bilingual Poetry, Korean, Korean American).
