About this Item

Pale blue wraps, possibly (probably) disbound from larger work. Looks to have been glued or otherwise carefully reattached along spine, with minor damage on spine when disbound. (See scan. ) Overall, G+ to VG-. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 8 pages; The full statement of this case reads like a Who's Who for Georgia in the late 19th century: Wallace S. Jones and Noble Jones, Executors of George Noble Jones, and Others, Vs. William N. Habersham and William Hunter, Executors of Mary Telfair, the Presbyterian Church of the City of Augusta, and Others. This case invovlved the will of Mary Telfair who left a larger portion of her estate to charitable organizations than the State of Georgia allowed a widow to do. (Lots of prominent folks seem to have wanted a largerpiece of the pie. ). Bookseller Inventory # 13671
