Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improv'd, Being a Correct Coppy of Mr. Ogilby's Actual Survey of all ye direct and Principal Cross-Roads in England and Wales: Lastly, particular and correct maps of all ye counties of south Britain with a summary description of each county, its circumference, number of acres, etc. Engraved by Eman Bowen. The fourth edition, dated 173? (last numeral near corner cut off) Condition: one leather cover remains; spine lacking and vertically splitting. Text and all maps very good+ complete, intact and clean. These miniature maps are very decorative. Top edge of some pages closely trimmed. 12 mo. 5 1/8' x 7 3/8" tall. 264 pages. Partial front endpaper only, taped + 2 blanks front and back. Title page is present, loose and edges frayed with one small bottom corner piece lacking which cut off last numeral of the date 173?
