VOLUME V Marine: 258pp + 8 plates + cii supplementary hand coloured plates + 8pp list of books published by Van Voorst, each bound in maroon pebbled cloth boards, gilt titles to spines, with 'Presented to the City of York Public Library by the Trustees of the British Association Surplus Fund' sticker to front paste downs, 'City of York Public Library' embossed stamps to title pages and sporadically elsewhere, a small oval mauve stamp to the rear of each supplementary colour plate and a library reference sticker to the spine of Volume I. UK. In very good condition with uniform fading to the spines, some minor wear. Overall a handsome set of Jefferys' seminal work, with the attractive hand coloured supplementary plates.
