Synopsis: Sarah Carson's Photographs--from Tintagel to Tower Bridge, from Uig Sands to Hastings, from the Connemara Coast to Welsh Castles--come alive as people and animals of these isles are captured candidly at home. In fields and towns, at work and play, their backdrops of history and culture are revealed around them. Both in dramatic black-and-white or in color saturated with beautiful light, these images become portraits within landscape.
Jeremy Adams responds to the landscape portraits with his keen insight and collaborative writing. His commentaries give fresh interpretation to landscape and enrich the messages of these images presented through Carson's vision and voice.
