Yet, at the heart of the book is baseball as seen from his unique perspective and longevity in the booth―-from witnessing seven no-hitters to having a catch with Bob Feller; from Roger Clemens' 20 strike out game to the fateful, unforgettable Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.

About the Author:

A graduate of Colgate and Syracuse Universities, Joe Castiglione began his major league baseball broadcasting career in 1979 with the Cleveland Indians and has been the Voice of Boston Red Sox baseball since 1983. He is a native New Englander. Co-author Douglas B. Lyons is the author of two previous books: Out of Left Field (Random House, 1998) and Curveballs and Screwballs (Random House, 2001). He resides in Scarsdale, NY.
