About this Item

The broadside prints a b&w photo of a young Andy Warhol wearing a suit and bow tie, with a text about Warhol printed at the bottom. This show, his second and last at the Stable Gallery, was titled "The Personality of the Artist," and featured Warhol's box sculptures. Horizontal center crease as on all copies, with 1-inch tear along the crease, few small, very light yellow spots, but nice overall, especially given its vintage and fragility---hard to imagine that any of these survived much nicer (9.5" x 13.5"). A true rarity from an important, early show---his first sculpture exhibition. Bookseller Inventory # SKB-14869
