About this Item

Beautiful large-format Heritage Press edition of the classic Russian novel The Brothers Karamazov by that country's first or second greatest novelist. The translation is by Constance Garnett, revised, with an introduction by Avrahm Yarmolinsky, illustrated with lithographs by Fritz Eichengerg. 604 double-column pages, with an illustrated cloth cover with title in green print. This seems to be a rare find, with no other copies found on AbeBooks. This beautiful book is flawless except for a slightly sun-faded spine, a small ex libris of the current owner on the inside front, and sun-faded edges of the green slipcover, with a bit of shelf wear at the top. Because of the weight of this book, no international sale unless agreeable to larger postage fee. Bookseller Inventory # 000791
