About this Item

16mo - over 5" - 6" tall. 178p. An item that has become scarce with reprints obviously made available from the von Mises institute, this book shows the insanity of ever expanding credit. Carefully reasoned, the author shows the insanity as President Hoover began transmitting millions of dollars in gold to France, while the Bank of England saw the Pound Sterling collapse and the US Dollar was being proped up by paper promises. Today nearly seventy-five years later the questions the author asks are still not being answered by those who say spending is the way to prosperity. Very scarce in the original edition.
