About this Item

The book is yellow cloth with no defects to note. The DJ is illustrated with a cavalry trooper in white on blue background. There are only light rubs to note as defects. The book is INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR to the previous owner by the author in a shaky hand writing and dated 1993. Negro soldiers who wished to remain in the army after the Civil War were organized into the Ninth and Tenth Cavalry Regiments. Called many names by others, the Indians dubbed them Buffalo Soldiers.
