About this Item

ex librus of "Clinton" lending library ? unsure as the markings there are few but evidence of a label removal on ffep and four numbers only are repeated on rear fly page otherwise no other library type markings, a tight solid book that was read very little if any as pages appear to have not been turned ; light browning and some foxing to end pages ; slight lean and damp staining at bottom but a very good plus copy with an unclipped dust jacket that has a 1 1/2 " chip at bottom on spine ; some other wear and rubbing to the rare jacket but still a very nice one showing men who appear to be buildomg a dam. Store Description

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
