About this title

Bullied is a book that aims to revolutionize the way we look at bullying. Its intention is to create a new conversation around bullying that considers alternate perspectives. The book explores the varying definitions of bullying and strategically analyzes each participant’s perspective and role in a bullying event. When we remove the villain from the bully, the victim from the person being bullied, and the excuses from the bystander, we begin to see a clearer image of the situation through a less emotional lens. This well-rounded book fortifies its concepts of empowerment, awareness, choice, and responsibility through real life experiences. Bullied is much more than a book. It's a movement. There are always two sides to every story So why aren't we listening?

About the Author:

Jason Lalli is known for his bright smile and positive attitude. Jason is a man of many passions, the strongest of which is his desire to make the world around him a better place. He is the co-founder of the Phoenix Festival of the Arts, an accomplished spoken word artist, event host, and inspirational speaker. Jason has helped validate, inspire, and guide thousands of youth through 190+ presentations of his substance abuse story to more than 65 schools. We have all faced adversity at some point in our lives. After four growth-delaying surgeries throughout his childhood, Jason Lalli is familiar with challenges. The beginning of his adult years were spent struggling with drug addiction, a battle millions of people fight and lose. Despite these and many other hardships he stayed positive, worked hard, and turned adversity into triumph. Jason emerged with wisdom and strength of character. He transformed moments of adversity that could have defined him forever into lessons to share with others. Adversity can build or destroy. It can teach or intimidate. How we emerge is completely dependent upon how we react. Do we adapt or collapse? Jason passionately wants to help empower people to know they are not alone, they have a choice, and they can still achieve whatever they desire.
