Red bookcloth boards with titles and library no. in gilt on spine, cream epps, 223pp including index, followed by 47pp of advertisements for other Stanley Paul & Co. publications, illustrated throughout with b&w photographs and diagrams, 4 fold out pages of samples of leather and bookcloth. Bookplate of 'The Thomas Greenwood Library for Librarians' and small classifivation no. label to front pastedown, Spine and lettering is faded, top and tail of spine bumped, small split to edge of spine, offsetting to ffepp and to pages adjacent to fold out samples, top edge is darkened.
