Original coloured chromolithograph printed on bright, medium heavy paper and attached in a matching passepartout frame. Print: 37,5 x 28 cm. The chromolithograph originates from the Special Edition to mark the Centennial of the first publication of prints by the Von Wright Brothers. The Von Wright Brothers, Magnus (1805-1868), Wilhelm (1810-1887) and Ferdinand (1822-1906) were descendants of Scottish emigrants and were active in Natural History art and research. From their hand were published more than 350 bird prints which were published in "Svenska Faglar, efter naturen och pa sten ritade".
