Vintage original 14 x 36" (35 x 91 cm.) insert poster, USA. Clara Bow, Gilbert Roland, Thelma Todd, Estelle Taylor, dir: John Francis Dillon; Fox Film. A savagely brazen Pre-Code film touching on nearly every subject which soon became taboo (some of which is seldom approached even in today's films), including prostitution, STDs, promiscuity, pedophilia and gay bars. Story of a wild Texan girl who is sent to Chicago to charm school. While there she adopts the name 'Dynamite' and tears the town apart. However, even in these Pre-Code days 'Dynamite' Nasa Springer must learn the errors of her reckless ways. The vital presence of Clara Bow, seen here in a spectacular color photo portrait, makes the film one of the finest of "forbidden Hollywood." Twice folded, chipping and edge wear, archival tape on back to reinforce folds, VERY GOOD-FINE. Bookseller Inventory #
