Has some interesting pencilling in the autograph section mentioning joinining in 1917 going to Camp Travis some others and ".of these all with the exception of Meadows and I were sent overseas in about 8 wks as replacements on the Transport Tuscania which was torpedoed off cosat of Ireland and Baker drowned . . . etc. a mere mention but kind of interesting. It has photos and names of the men in the various companies of teh Eighteenth (Cactus) Division which was organized at Camp Travis, August, 1918. The different units were: Nineteenth Infantry, Eighty-Fifth Infantry, Fifty-Third Machine Gun Battalion, Thirty-Fifth Infantry, Eighty-Sixth Infantry, Fifty-Fourth Machine Gun Battalion, Fifty-Second Machine Gun Battalion, Fifth-Second Field Artillery, Fifty-Third Field Artillery, Fifty-Fourth Field Artillery, Eighteenth Trench Mortar Battalion, 218th Engineers (Sappers), Eighteenth Ammunition Train, The 165th Depot Brigade, and the Provost Guard. slight staining on the edges of the boards, small hole on the clothcovering on the front edge of joint of the front cover.
