Jackson Photo., Denver,¿ in the lower right-hand corner. Print from a glass-plate negative commissioned by The Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad Company. Subject: Engine 19 (known as the ¿Oro City¿) of the D.S.P. & P. Ry., a 2-6-0, built by Dawson & Bailey in 1879, hauling a train of mixed cars, near St. Elmo in Chalk Creek Canon, Chaffee County, Colorado. Dimensions of this albumen photograph: 20 inches by 16 inches. Print mounted on original cream-colored board. Condition: near fine, except for a small chip in the lower right-hand corner of photograph; tones are outstanding; detail is excellent; overall white balance tends slightly towards yellow. Excellent tones and contrasts; slight yellowing hue. Framed; museum conservation mount. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL W. H. JACKSON MAMMOTH-SIZED ALBUMEN PHOTOGRAPHS (not a reprint).
