A fine copy in original half cloth, Ingres paper sides with a paper sample laid down on the front cover, slipcase. For over twenty years the author has accumulated a significant collection of mock money, prayer sheets, New Year prints and other forms of paper which have been used in Chinese religion ceremonies for many centuries. The selection offered in this assemblage testifies to the continuing importance of paper objects in Eastern culture and is supported by an authoritative introductory essay.
