Leslie Jones worked as a photographer for the Herald-Traveler in Boston for 39 years from 1917 to 1956. This is a collection of 30 original glass photograph negatives, 5x4 inches. There are 28 positive photograph prints of the glass slides included. The photographs are of Amelia Earhart, Aimee Semple McPhersen vigorously preaching In Boston Garden October 12, 1931, King and Queen of Belgium in Boston in 1919, President and Mrs. Coolidge in Andover in June 1928, The Coolidges in Marshfield Mass, Lindbergh, Hoover, more. One photo is of a photographer with a camera near his face - a portrait of Jones? Some photos are identified, a few are dated but most have no date or subject given.
