This is a large book and is not eligible for Priority, Air or International under standard fees. Larage Paperback. Binding, especially around the edges and spine, is faded, with very minor wear and soil on the sound binding. The very tips of the content's lower fore corners are very lightly bumped, otherwise contents are clean, unworn. Separate booklet is in very good condition. (S-7-E) . ; 8-1/2 x 10-7/8" , 45pp. Covers are about the weight of construction paper. HISTORY / ART. Although not stated, this is probably the first printing of the first edition since only the cprt date is given, with no further printings listed. A label is affixed to the title page, reading "For ________ From the home of Ralph Waldo Emerson Concord, Massachusetts. " Twenty full-page pen and ink reproductions, each faced by an explanatory page, giving the history of the item pictured, plus illustrated front cover and a small illustration on the title page. Loosely laid-in is a 5-3/8 x 8-1/4" five page saddle-stapled booklet , THE EMERSON HOUSE IN CONCORD , for which no author, date, or publisher is listed.
