Accordion-style album containing twelve cabinet-card-sized views mounted on card covered with white cloth. Condition: very good plus. Tones of each photograph: generally strong. All images highly detailed. One photograph (#2007) is labeled as follows: "Tanglefoot Curve, Cumbres Pass, D.R.G.R.Ry. June 1885, The Road Here Travels 40 Rods to Gain a Distance of 2 Roads, Geo. E. Mellen Photo." The other photographs appear labeled in Mellen's handwriting. One photograph: "Toltec Gorge, 1100 Ft., Beneath R.R. Track" is not numbered. Condition of photographs: very good plus to near fine. The last photograph: "#2013, Animas Canon and its Palisades," has several tiny ink spots on it.
