About this Item

An early Steinbeck book, " A Life of Sir Henry Morgan, Buccaneer, With Occasional Reference to History," This edition is an early reprint in uncommon condition. Its chief flaw is a small rubber stamp on the front pastedown and front free endpaper stating "I hope you enjoyed this book But Please Return It To W. A. (Bill) Dennis." Tightly bound with the spine ends and corners starting to show wear but no fraying. Title and author's name in unworn gilt on the spine. Spine and cover have a blue decoration of sky, clounds and a cabin. Bookseller Inventory # 001947
